The Houston office of our client, an international Top I00 AmLaw firm, is seeking a Junior or Intermediate Partner to join their renowned Debt Finance group. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience structuring, documenting and negotiating secured and unsecured financing transactions for borrowers and lenders, including senior secured, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions; acquisition financing; restructurings and loan restructurings. Candidates with experience in leveraged finance, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions, are preferred. Our client’s debt finance practice focuses primarily on representing private equity funds, restructuring finance and other corporate borrowers. It’s an opportunity to work with the best and brightest lawyers on the most sophisticated transactions. Applicants should have a strong academic record from a nationally respected law school and an equally impressive undergraduate degree, as well as experience at a large law firm and excellent references. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to excellence are also required.
